Kaddeland Feriehus' is a spacious wooden farmhouse in Holum (Mandal) by the Mandalselva river. You will have access to the riverside and a floating dock. There is also a boat with an outboard motor available for our guests for an additional fee of 310 euro pr week. A large pavilion with fireplace and a wood-fired oven. Plenty of small sitting groups and terrasses where you can relax with a cup of coffee. The place is perfect for a family holiday. It has a large flat lawn, playground equipment, sandpit and playhouse.

About the house

The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, induction hobs and washing machine. Spacious living room and dining room with view of the river. 4 bedrooms with double bed in each room. Bathroom at the main floor. An extra bathroom with reduced ceiling height in the basement.

Outdoors & Garden

It is plenty of space outdoors. It is possible to borrow various toys and games.

The River

Across the road you will have access to our lawn by the river, and our floating dock. If you want to fish you will need to purchase a fishing card. for more info look under "Salmon fishing in Mandalselva"

In the autumn 2017 we bought a sit-on-top-kajakk for free disposal for our guests. All use is your own responsibility of course!

If you use our sit-on-top-kayakk, you will have easy access to the other side of the river where it is better for the little ones to wade and bath. The current is low, and the water is shallow.

Kitchen

On the first floor of the house it is a rather new well equipped kitchen (2007). Dishwasher, fridge, freezer, induction oven, coffee machine, toaster.

Living Room

The living room has a nice view of the river.

TV with Apple TV (2.gen) for internet streaming.

Dining room.

Bathroom

The bathroom has heated floor. It contains a shower, two sinks, toilet,bidèt and washing machine.

Bedrooms

There are totally 4 bedrooms in the house. One on the first floor and tree on the second floor. All 4 bedrooms are equipped with beds that are 150 cm wide. It is possible to have extra mattresses or children beds in 3 of totally 4 bedrooms in the house.

"Dagnystua"

Bedroom " Dagnystua" At the first floor. Next to the dining room, with one of two entrances to the bathroom. It is room for a childrens bed and if necessary it is also space for a mattress. The bed is 150 cm wide.

"Elverommet"

"Elverommet" at second floor has room for both ekstra mattress and childrens bed. The bed is 150 cm wide, and you have view of the river from the bed.

"Balkongrommet"

"Jomfruburet"

This room is the smallest of the four bedrooms. The bed is 150 cm wide.

Spare Bathroom

In the basement it is a spare bathroom. It can be used when there are many guests, and has easy access from the paviljon/garden. The height of the roof is only 180 cm and the floor is not heated.
